My cousins Bohunk and Hunkie ( real names Yashi and Frankie) sent me this photo taken at a Polka festival in Lakawanah New Jersey ( or someplace close to that) and could not believe that Polka Band Gobi's fame has passed far and wider than ever before...so I wanted to pass this on to all our polka fans all over the world. The last time I saw shoulder bags for sale of Gobi was at Kumar's place in New Delhi...he must be sending them far and wide due to the high demand.

Polka band Gobi is where it's at! I mean who cares about Polanski and all the other news, I mean come on people get your PBG shoulder bags and tee's ... I know they're all sold out but rumor has it you can get them on e-bay, the bids are very high though... so HURRY!!!

To my utter surprise while driving through Bayonne NJ I came across a crowded street market. Crowds have gathered and polka music filled the air. There before my very eyes were the legendary t-shirts and shoulder bags so highly priced the world over. The crowds were buying them as though there was no tomorrow. Shouting bravely over the fray, Kumar assured the gathering throng that more stock would arrive tomorrow. This seemed to keep them calm and orderly and satisfied with only 2 or 3 items per person.

Oh...Kathy, our 2nd biggest polka fan. The bag, it is being made in our special factory near Delhi, the orders are so many, yes..so many that we are in back order. Mr Calvin K---- is next on order and then you. When we see you in Calcutta I will put one in your hands personally.
